The Master of Science in Analytics (MSAn) from the Kogod School of Business prepares students to become experts in data analysis. Students will learn how to use data to solve a variety of organizational and business challenges related to fiscal performance and operational effectiveness.

Marketing Analytics

In-Person Practicums

Analytics@American includes two in-person practicums that allow students to solve real business challenges with real companies. During these three- to four-day sessions, which take place on American University’s campus in Washington, D.C., students attend talks from business leaders and group explorations of the nation's capital while completing a project that they can add to their résumé or discuss in job interviews.

Online Learning Experience

Analytics@American students attend live online classes where they interact and collaborate via webcam with Kogod faculty members and classmates. They complete weekly self-paced course work that complements the assignments and discussion in the live classes and have full access to office hours.
