  • Applicants who have studied abroad or completed dual or joint degree programs permitted the duration of study in the English speaking country is a minimum of 3 or more years.

Official Transcripts

Applicants whose previous degree program(s) were not in English should request an official copy of their transcript (including grade sheet and diploma certificate, if completed) from their undergraduate institution along with an official English translation. If the undergraduate institution does not provide English translation, applicants must locate a certified translator. Transcripts or translations certified by Notary Publics will not be accepted by the Admissions Office.

We recommend that international applicants utilize the translation and verification services of World Education Services and will accept WES evaluations as official documents. We reserve the right to independently seek credentials certification through WES for any official documents whose authenticity we may wish to confirm.

Applicants who cannot request an official transcript from the undergraduate institution but who are in possession of an official copy should request that a certified copy be made by either an Embassy or Consular Official, or through the official EducationUSA advising office in their home country. For EducationUSA office locations, please visit the EducationUSA website.

Note for Chinese Applicants: Applicants who completed university study in China will be notified if they proceed beyond the preliminary review process and will be required to request official evaluations of their academic background from CDGDC to be submitted directly to the Kogod Graduate Admissions Office by CDGDC. Alternatively, evaluations from WES will be accepted. There will be no exceptions to this policy. As these evaluations may take up to 4 weeks to reach us, we recommend that you make your request as early as possible as you prepare your application materials.
