Professor Ozden Engin Cakici’s primary research and teaching interests lie in the area of operations management and information technology, including health care operations, supply chain management, and economics of information technology. His research methodology includes business analytics, applied queuing theory, applied game theory, and inventory theory. Cakici has presented papers in INFORMS Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, INFORMS Healthcare, and at Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences. He has reviewed papers in Decision Support Systems, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and Production and Operations Management.
Cakici is fluent in Turkish and English, and he speaks German at an intermediate level.
