Kathleen Dyer is an established executive with more than 35 years of professional experience, 30 of them in senior leadership and executive positions. She is adept at leading multidisciplinary teams to provide enterprise-wide solutions, both as an industry executive and professional consulting leader. Her experience spans the health care and telecommunications corporate sectors as well as the governmental and nonprofit sectors. She is experienced in information systems strategy and architecture, IT governance, IT sourcing, enterprise-wide system implementation, change adoption, stakeholder relationship management, program and portfolio management, and infrastructure and information security operations and management.

Currently, Dyer is president of Simplifying Innovative Solutions LLC, a professional consulting organization focused on technology-driven, interdisciplinary, stakeholder-focused innovation and change through enabling technologies, operational excellence, and engaged employees. Previously, Dyer was vice president and chief information officer at Adventist HealthCare, where she led IT strategic planning, IT capital planning, IT portfolio management, enterprise architecture development and management, information technology development, implementation and service delivery, IT workforce planning, information security planning and assurance, and all other related infrastructure management and delivery functions, including interoperability solutions, infrastructure virtualization, and mobility capabilities.

Prior to Adventist HealthCare, Dyer was a principal at Booz Allen Hamilton where she led major federal government information technology initiatives and focused heavily on helping executives and managers improve organizational performance through enabling technologies. As a member of Booz Allen’s senior leadership team, Dyer served on major governance working groups to develop and lead strategy and investments initiatives, as well as people development and leadership development initiatives.

Prior to Booz Allen Hamilton, Dyer held management positions with major telecommunications industry leaders and educational institutions. She has received numerous awards and certifications throughout her career.
